HVO diesel for Linde forklift trucks

You can't do without your Linde diesel forklift, but want to operate it sustainably? Then HVO (Hydrogenated Vegetable Oils) fuel is the perfect solution for you. The fuel made from hydrogenated vegetable oil impresses with its additional engine power and clean combustion without you having to adapt your tank infrastructure or hardware on the forklift.

In addition, a flexible mixture with normal diesel is possible, so that the HVO fuel can be used in pure form as well as in an individual mixing ratio.

What is biofuel made of and how is it produced?

HVO diesel is composed entirely of renewable raw materials. These are obtained by hydrogen treatment from various vegetable oils, animal fats and waste as well as residual materials (e.g. used cooking oil, fats from restaurants and the food industry).

As the chemical structure is almost identical to that of conventional diesel, it can be completely replaced by the more sustainable variant. However, it is also possible to mix the fuel with fossil diesel as desired. High performance is possible even at low temperatures down to -22 degrees, meaning that the fuel can be used for a wide range of applications.

Reduction in CO2 emissions of up to 90%

33% lower fine dust emissions

9% reduction in nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions

30% reduction in hydrocarbon (HC) emissions

24% reduction in carbon monoxide (CO) emissions

How sustainable is biofuel?

By using HVO fuel, you can reduce your CO2 emissions by up to 90 percent compared to conventional diesel. It also reduces exposure to particulate matter, nitrogen oxide (NOX), hydrocarbons (HC) and carbon monoxide (CO), thus ensuring a healthier working environment for your employees. The higher ignitability (cetane number) results in efficient and clean combustion, which also reduces the formation of soot in engines and exhaust systems.

How easily can biofuel be implemented?

The new biofuel can be used without any adjustments to the tank infrastructure or hardware adaptations to your Linde forklift truck. It is approved for all IC engine-powered forklifts from Linde Material Handling in the 1.4 to 18 tonne load range.
