Features
To secure the transported goods, the start-up interlock makes it impossible to start the train when the trailers are lowered. During travel, the lifting function is deactivated. Each frame is also equipped with a mechanical load lock that holds the load securely in the frame during travel. Once a pack is placed in the frame, the latch automatically closes. The patented lift mechanism of the forks has a tilt function that ensures the same ground clearance for all loaded trolleys, even with heavy loads. The all-wheel steering provides precise tracking and prevents the frames from skidding, which increases safety in operational traffic.
- Locking device installed as standard secures the transported goods
- Start-up interlock with lowered frame
- Deactivated lift function while driving
- Tilt function of the forks for constant ground clearance even with high payloads
- All-wheel steering enables precise tracking without frame shearing out
The logistics train offers an ergonomic solution for load handling thanks to ground-level loading and unloading. All frame modules of the Linde logistics tugs are connected to each other and to the tractor via data cables. The lifting function can be controlled simultaneously for all frames as well as individually for each frame. The ergonomic ejection mechanism of the C-frame pushes the load away from the back of the fork as soon as the operator releases the lock using the foot switch. An option is available for the bow frames that allows the load to be removed from both sides. This allows the operator to push the load carrier through the frame and relieves the strain on heavy goods. Thanks to the electric lifting function, the logistics tugs also operate quietly.
- Support for the operator through simultaneous and individual stroke execution
- Ejection mechanism of the C-frame and optional push-through for the hoop frame simplify the handling of heavy loads
Low noise emission
The frames are equipped with mechanical all-wheel steering. This allows the logistics trains to be steered extremely precisely. They are characterized by extremely small turning circles, directional stability and tipping stability. The frames are available as C, hoop and hoop frames with adjustable center bar, which are automatically raised for transport and lowered again for unloading. This speeds up loading and unloading. By moving the center bar, different pack sizes can be transported in one frame. The patented lifting profile mechanism also allows pallets to be picked up without a rolling load carrier if, for example, they have been placed in the trailer with a lift truck. The optionally available tugger train guidance system determines the optimal route, reduces error rates and training times, and responds to order changes in real time.
- All-wheel steering for smallest turning radii and high directional stability
- Fast lifting function when getting in and out of the car
- Adaptation to different transport goods due to movable center bar
- Patented lifting profile mechanism enables pallets to be transported without a rolling landing beam
- Optional tugger train control system for integration into digital processes
The current status of each frame is visualized on the touch display at the operator's station. The lift motors of the frames are maintenance-free and monitored by sensors so that safe transport of the loads is always guaranteed. The drawbar system in conjunction with the ball head coupling is virtually wear-free. The design on two axles with a central cargo area also provides easy access for maintenance. Each frame is equipped with its own hour meter. This facilitates maintenance planning for the overall combination of tractors and frames. Standardized interfaces with predefined functions allow the frames to be used in combination with manual or automated tractors at any time without conversion.
- Condition of all frames visible on the touch display
- Maintenance-free and electronically monitored hoist motors
- Largely wear-free drawbars and couplings
- Easily accessible and low-maintenance frame design
- Operating hours counter per frame facilitates maintenance planning
- Prepared for automation through standardized interfaces

Special equipment
By default, C-frames are opened on the right side. Optionally, the left side in the direction of travel can also be selected for a load change.
The stirrup frame can be equipped with a movable center bar that can be shifted to the desired position against the direction of travel. This allows different load carriers to be accommodated with the same frame.
For outdoor applications, the frames can be equipped with rugged Super Elastic (SE) wheels with a diameter of 250 mm and a width of 85 mm or 130 mm. These wheels are fully sprung and absorb vibrations.
The standard lifting height is 50 mm, which is sufficient for most indoor applications. For outdoor applications, the lifting height of the hoop frames can be increased to 80 mm and that of the C-frames to 100 mm. For special applications, other lifting heights can be requested.
A four function LED tail light set (turn signal, tail light, brake light, license plate light) with magnetic mount and two lights is available. The clear glass housing is waterproof, it is certified according to e4 and ISO 1724.
A flashing light can be mounted on top of the trailer to make the logistics train more visible, especially in dark environments.
A tarpaulin roof that can be pulled over the frames is available for C and hoop frames. It can be opened on one side for C-frames and from two sides for hoop frames.
Linde offers trolleys in various designs. They form the interface between the load and the tugger train and can be equipped with modular shelf superstructures, for example.
