GRUMA Forklift at the Oktoberfest
Once again this year, the Munich Oktoberfest opened its doors to its many visitors. But before the grand opening, there was a lot to do at the Theresienwiese in Munich. The tents and rides had to be erected and the goods delivered. Between 40 and 60 trucks were used every day to deliver the materials for erecting the large tents alone.
The preparation for the 16 festival days from September 19 to October 4 was a gigantic effort for all helpers. Until the opening day, about 8,000 people were involved in the set-up. Also GRUMA-Rent was represented with more than 40 vehicles from its rental fleet at all trades during the construction. From front-, telescopic-, all-terrain- and sideloaders, a wide range of GRUMA industrial trucks was present during the construction. GRUMA also actively supported the dismantling of the 182nd Oktoberfest.
We are already looking forward to the next Wiesn 2016.
