Find the right battery
From the nameplate of your forklift battery you can read important data, such as the nominal voltage, battery type and capacity. Based on these values, you can use our battery store to determine which replacement battery is best suited for your forklift.
Nominal voltage: corresponds to the on-board voltage in the battery store
Type: PzS corresponds to the cell type "standard armor plate battery", PzB stands for British dimensions and PzV for a sealed battery system.
Capacity: is the power of the battery and is expressed in ampere-hours
Suitable accessories for your forklift battery
Take the opportunity and order the appropriate accessories, such as water refilling systems, electrolyte circulation, chargers and battery changing systems for your truck directly with your battery order.
Aquamatik" water refill system
For a drive battery to function reliably and for a long time, it needs water. During operation, however, forklifts, pallet trucks and the like consume this battery water. To compensate for this loss, the battery must be regularly refilled with distilled water. The Aquamatik water refilling system allows all cells to be filled centrally via a hose system. Here, each cell is connected to each other and the water can thus be refilled more easily.
Electrolyte circulation (EUW)
Do you need to intermediate charge your forklift battery frequently? Then electrolyte circulation (EUW) is a sensible investment for you. Here, a diaphragm pump is used to introduce a targeted flow of air into the cell in order to achieve circulation of the liquid electrolyte. This eliminates temperature stratification and optimizes charge absorption. The result? Shorter charging times and longer battery life.

Frequently asked questions about our forklift batteries
Yes, if individual battery cells should be defective, then you can have them replaced by our customer service. It is strongly advised not to replace the cells yourself without in-depth expertise and appropriate protective devices, as they are filled with battery acid.
The service life depends to a large extent on the respective vehicle type, driving style, environmental influences and battery care. Alternative drive types, such as lithium-ion batteries and fuel cells, generally have a higher energy density and therefore last longer than the conventional lead-acid battery.
In principle, this is possible. However, we recommend installation by qualified personnel. As a GRUMA customer, you benefit from the free installation service when you return your old battery.
We will gladly dispose of your old battery for you. Since the environment is very close to our hearts, we pay attention to an environmentally friendly disposal.
