Are you interested in a special construction vehicle from GRUMA? Simply contact us by phone or by form and tell us about your requirements or the special problems of your application. We will be happy to help you find the right solution. As a responsible partner, we ensure that the applicable regulations, such as the Machinery Directive and Product Safety Act, are complied with.
Determination of requirements & release drawing
In the second step, the needs assessment, we work together with our colleagues from sales to get a comprehensive picture of your individual requirements on site. We then advise you on the various possible solutions and help you select the right vehicle. Even before the start of production, we create a release drawing on which we show detailed information about your special design.
Your special design with matching operating instructions and declaration of conformity
If, as a result of the conversion, the operation differs from the original operating instructions, we will of course prepare supplementary operating instructions for you - this is of course essential for safe operation. In addition, vehicles that have undergone significant modifications as a result of our conversion measures will be equipped with a new declaration of conformity accordingly. You will receive both documents together with your new GRUMA custom-built vehicle when the vehicle is handed over.

Special designs on industrial trucks can be both supplementary accessories and comprehensive conversions of vehicles. Examples of the latter include increased load capacity, modified vehicle dimensions or other adaptations for special customer requirements.
It is essential that a new declaration of conformity is issued by the manufacturer for a special design that represents a significant change to a vehicle. Through defined internal processes, your partner GRUMA clarifies at an early stage which types of documentation are necessary and also issues them for you in the course of production, in compliance with applicable laws and standards. The operating company must ensure that current risk assessments exist for the respective application and that the operating personnel receive instruction or ongoing repeated instruction. Operating instructions for the machines used must be available to the operators.
