The so-called warehouse technology comprises all products that are required for the (in-plant) transport and storage of goods. The warehouse technology is part of the internal company logistics.
Warehousing equipment includes warehouse equipment or material handling equipment that can be used to transport material. These vehicles include in particular all types of forklifts, reach trucks, pallet trucks, narrow aisle trucks, tractors and more. It is now also possible to use driverless forklifts and warehouse equipment.
However, warehouse technology also includes the warehouse equipment, mostly realized by racking systems. From pallet racking to drive-in racking to flow racks or storage platforms - the racking must match the industrial trucks and vice versa.
