Horizontal order picker
Horizontal order pickers (also: low-lift order pickers) are used for order picking at floor level and on the first shelf level.
Vertical order picker
Vertical order pickers are divided into medium-lift and high-lift order pickers and reach a lifting height of up to 12 meters.

At what height are the goods? How big and heavy are they? And what picking frequency must the operator achieve? Every user answers these questions differently. That's why Linde develops completely individual order pickers based on a modular system - for example, with different mast heights, work platforms , chassis sizes, operating and control concepts. In the end, the vehicle fits the task perfectly and makes every move easier.
Whether your order picker requires a driver's license or a credential depends entirely on the type of equipment. A forklift license is mandatory, as is annual instruction according to BGV A1 and occupational health and safety law §12. A device-specific instruction as well as the physical and mental suitability is a prerequisite . In the case of special order picking equipment such as the K-unit from Linde, you travel upwards on a platform in the order picker in the high rack and therefore require additional training, e.g. the Abseiling training for high rack vehicles.
