Digital tachograph instruction
The EC social regulations with the special rules on driving time and rest periods are an important topic for both entrepreneurs and driving personnel and are always the focus of discussions.
The revised Tachograph Regulation (EU) No. 165/2014 came into force on March 2, 2016. This also includes an extended training obligation for companies. If there is no proof that the driving personnel have been trained and instructed, the transport company is fully liable for any infringements. You can therefore obtain the appropriate training at GRUMA - also directly at your premises.
All info on instruction at a glance
If the company cannot prove that its drivers have been instructed, the company is fully liable for violations committed by its drivers. For this reason, it is very important to have a signed confirmation from the driving personnel that they have been instructed. This is included in the personnel file. The company and drivers are also obliged to use the monitoring device properly. The aim is for the driving personnel to master the devices used in the fleet (analog and digital control devices) (including supplements, operation, printouts).

Tachograph training is required by law
Regulation (EU) No. 165/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council on tachographs in road transport, repealing Council Regulation (EEC) No. 3821/85 on recording equipment in road transport and amending Regulation (EC) No. 561/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the harmonization of certain social legislation relating to road transport.
