StaplerCup and employee party 2019
On May 24, our GRUMA StaplerCup 2019 took place in Friedberg in glorious sunshine. Here, the best forklift drivers from southern Bavaria competed against each other in exciting competitions. The three best placed qualified for the German championship in Aschaffenburg.
First place went to Wilfried Branz from Liebherr-Mischtechnik in Bad Schussenried. Erwin Brummer from Richter+Frenzel in Reichertshofen came second, followed by Peter Schmidt from Goldhofer AG in Memmingen. In total, more than 60 drivers took to the starting line this year and wowed the audience with their flair.
As every year, our StaplerCup was accompanied by our used forklift exhibition as well as numerous attractions such as Segway driving, hot wire and much more. Special highlight: A virtual reality forklift simulator and a 30-meter telescopic forklift, which gave our visitors a wonderful view over the GRUMA premises.
The evening was then concluded with delicious culinary specialties at an employee party. Special thanks go to our subsidiaries GRUMA Automobile, Henne and ACS for providing some exhibition gems. Likewise, a heartfelt thank you to our agricultural technology for the parking spaces provided. But the biggest thank you goes to all hard-working StaplerCup helpers. Without your commitment our StaplerCup would not have been possible!
