Seal of approval from Continental Commercial Specialty Tires
Although GRUMA was already certified as a Continental Service Partner at the beginning of the year, the official handover of the certificate was postponed to last week at GRUMA headquarters in Friedberg near Augsburg due to Corona.
With this seal of approval, Continental Commercial Specialty Tires (CST) confirms the consistently outstanding quality of the service offered for its special tire products. As part of the certification program, GRUMA underwent comprehensive audits in the areas of service, order and cleanliness, as well as in consulting and sales.
The certification also confirms the in-depth expertise and additional qualifications and competencies of the employees.
In the process, GRUMA met all requirements for the required standards for the assembly of Continental CST solid and pneumatic tires, as well as for order and cleanliness in the workshops. In addition, everyday safety is actively promoted, the environment is protected and the Continental LifeCycle process is supported. Thus, environmentally friendly disposal of used tires is also part of everyday life at the plant.
At the same time as the certificate was handed over, Erwin Brummer, as German Champion of the StaplerCup 2019, received his victory bonus: He was delighted to receive a set of Continental tires.
A large number of GRUMA forklifts are equipped with Continental SuperElastik and pneumatic tires.
