Never change a running system: ForkliftCup legend Erwin Brummer has once again secured first place in this year's Southern Bavarian Championship held by GRUMA Nutzfahrzeuge GmbH in Friedberg near Augsburg. On 22.11.2022, Holger Gehret, Area Manager South-East from tire manufacturer Continental, now presented the lucky winner with his main prize: a set of Continental summer tires in the SportContact 7 profile.
Erwin Brummer continues winning streak
During the presentation, Mr. Brummer proudly reported on his participation this year in the German Forklift Driving Championship in Aschaffenburg. There, he achieved third place in the nationwide competition held by Linde Material Handling at the end of October. Even though it wasn't quite enough for first place, Erwin Brummer is thus continuing his winning streak. After all, no other driver has represented GRUMA more often at the StaplerCup. The GRUMA champion received active support during the competition from his family and Johann Breimeir, who was also present at the award ceremony.
Every year, the best drivers compete against each other in individual or team competitions at the StaplerCup. Their goal is to win the championship in forklift driving. Winning requires speed, sure instinct and, above all, nerves of steel. At this year's 17th StaplerCup, Benjamin Danker (men's category) and Daniela Eilers (women's category) ultimately beat their competitors to win the German championship. The defending champion "Teamlog" secured the trophy in the company competition and Slovakia won the Nations Cup for the first time.
