Safety in focus - GRUMA prevention measures
Our preventive measures due to the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus.
GRUMA attaches the utmost importance to the safety and health of its employees, their families, customers and suppliers.
In view of the current developments of the coronavirus in Germany and worldwide, we inform you about our company-wide preventive measures and guidelines. These protective measures focus on the health of our colleagues and business partners.
At the same time, we aim to minimize the disruption to our operations and continue to meet our customers' needs as best we can. At present, our sales processing, customer service and administration are available without restriction.
We base our guidelines on the Robert Koch Institute and are also advised by our company physician.
- GRUMA employees have been instructed regarding compliance with basic and effective hygiene measures in the workplace.
- GRUMA has defined processes that create immediate structures to minimize the impact in the event of any impairment of business operations ("pandemic planning").
- Business trips of GRUMA employees to the risk areas and particularly affected areas of the coronavirus defined by the Robert Koch Institute were prohibited.
- There is an obligation to report with an immediate action plan for GRUMA employees who show symptoms of illness or have had contact with an infected person after a stay in the defined risk areas or a particularly affected area of the coronavirus.
We will respond to changing situations in a timely and responsible manner. If you have any questions about our prevention measures, your business relationships or current developments, your known GRUMA contact as well as our GRUMA specialist for occupational safety, Mr. Markus Lipowsky ([email protected]), will be happy to assist you.
