It's official: GRUMA is one of Germany's TOP 1,000 employers!

This is the result of a study by the business magazine FOCUS Business in cooperation with the employer rating platform kununu. More than 950,000 companies and around four million employee ratings are evaluated as the data basis for the annual study. The final rankings are determined on the basis of fixed selection criteria. For example, the companies must be based in Germany and have an average rating of at least 3.0 out of a total of five points on kununu.com. In addition, the candidates must have a minimum number of ratings and a recommendation rate of at least 60 percent.

If a company has made it onto the shortlist on the basis of the selection criteria, the ratings of employees from all occupational groups and career levels on the topics of corporate culture, working atmosphere and salary are considered. To determine the best employers in Germany, the rating average is calculated from the selection criteria and the number of ratings and recommendations. To ensure that companies with many employees do not automatically receive a higher ranking than companies with few employees, this rating average is in turn weighted according to company size and reference industry.

Hans Gruber cites the family-like working atmosphere with flat hierarchies, short decision-making processes, strong team spirit and the opportunity for independent action and individual advancement as the reasons for the high level of satisfaction and the good results in the employer ranking.

GRUMA would like to continue to offer its employees security and consistency as a TOP employer. Therefore, despite the current situation, it continues to focus on its investment strategy. For example, a new fully equipped workshop and a modern parts warehouse for the Agricultural Machinery division are currently being built at the headquarters in Friedberg. In addition, the company continues to pursue a strong training and development approach in the commercial and technical areas and is stepping up the digitization of business processes in all areas. For example, last year a complete merchandise management system was replaced by modern software for around 400 employees. GRUMA is now also represented in the e-learning sector: since the beginning of the year, the GRUMA Academy has been offering forklift training and instruction in digital form on a new online platform.
