Early presents: GRUMA hands over donation to Lebenshilfe Aichach-Friedberg

Christmas present for the Elisabeth School of Lebenshilfe Aichach-Friedberg. The support center received a donation of 10,000 euros from GRUMA, which will be used to expand the school building.

Christmas time is the time for charity. This year, GRUMA wants to make others happy. That's why the company, headquartered in Friedberg near Augsburg, is donating 10,000 euros to charitable organizations in the region. On Monday, 4.12.23, the Elisabeth School of Lebenshilfe Aichach-Friedberg was delighted to receive this donation, which Sophie Gruber, a member of GRUMA's management team, presented in the form of a cheque.

The Elisabeth School is a state-recognized private support center with a focus on mental development run by Lebenshilfe-Aichach-Friedberg. It is attended by children and young people who require special, intensive and comprehensive support in order to cope with their individual lives. Inclusion is practiced here through intensive interaction between young people with and without disabilities in mixed-age classes.

Principal Klaus Steinhardt was delighted with the donation and already has a use for it:

We would like to thank GRUMA very much for this generous donation, which we will put towards the necessary expansion of our school building. As there is a lack of both the number of rooms and their size, the expansion of our premises in Aichach is the basis for optimally meeting the requirements of our pupils in the future.

As a family-run, medium-sized company, we are aware of our social responsibility. And so we are always happy to support institutions and organizations in our region where we know that the money will be put to good use. At the Elisabeth School, I am personally impressed by the concept of inclusion and the caring and respectful interaction with one another.
