The drive battery installed in every forklift requires water for its reliable operation. During operation, however, the forklift consumes this battery water. To compensate for this loss, it must be regularly refilled with distilled water. The Aquamatik water refill system enables all cells to be filled centrally via a hose system. Each battery cell is connected to each other and the water can thus be refilled more easily.
Electrolyte circulation is the circulation of the liquid electrolyte by introducing air. A diaphragm pump directs a flow of air into the cell. The temperature stratification is therefore cancelled and the charge absorption optimized. The advantage: intermediate charging is possible, shorter charging times and the service life of the battery is increased.
