Tested, inspected and found to be good: GRUMA Akademie's "Annual Instruction Forklift Online" now bears the DGUV test mark "Testedblended learning program in occupational safety". This means that its effectiveness as a means of operational instruction has also been confirmed by an official testing and certification body - the IAG.
The Competence Center for E-Learning in the field of the DGUV (German Social Accident Insurance), together with experts from the UVT as well as manufacturers and users, has established various evaluation criteria. These serve to test the use of e-learning programs as a tool for instruction in occupational safety and health. Together with DGUV-Test, the IAG offers a testing and certification procedure for commercial e-learning programs. The test procedure is based on the quality criteria for product testing of ISO / IEC 19796-1, which have been revised and expanded with regard to the special requirements of occupational safety. The test mark is intended to show customers which online training is an effective alternative to classroom training and which is not.
GRUMA also always includes the criteria of the testing and certification body in the development of its online training courses. The online training "Annual Instruction Forklift Online" offers all forklift drivers with a valid forklift license a quick and uncomplicated way to refresh and deepen their knowledge in the form of annual instruction.
Where previously a half or full day had to be scheduled due to the journey to the training center, the instruction can now be conveniently integrated into the daily work routine. Participants decide for themselves when, where and at what pace they want to work through the training. The only technical requirement is a PC with Internet access and the option of audio playback. Informative pictures, quizzes, videos, and a speaker lighten up the training and provide variety and entertainment. Test questions at the end of each lesson, as well as the final quiz, also guarantee that the participant has understood the content.
