All-round renewal for the electric tow tractors and platform trucks from Linde Material Handling (MH): With their extensive safety features, improved ride comfort and powerful drive, the new vehicles ensure higher handling performance for automotive and steel producers, at airports, in wholesale markets or in traffic-congested areas.
The new P120 to P350 electric tractors are suitable for towing loads of 12, 18, 25, 30 and 35 tons. The P250 model is also available with a short or long wheelbase. The new Linde W20 and W30 platform trucks are designed for 2 and 3 tonne loading loads respectively, as well as 6 tonne towing loads. Variations for the length of the wheelbase are also available here.
In terms of performance and ergonomics, the entire series has received a full update, resulting in significant potential benefits for users. Both the platform trucks and the tractor variants are characterized by their maneuverability and safe maneuverability and can be operated with either lead-acid or lithium-ion batteries.
Thanks to their powerful electric motors, the vehicles can negotiate ramps, underpasses with inclines, and long distances both quickly and reliably at speeds of up to 25 kilometers per hour. In addition, the vehicle design took into account the regulations and standards that apply in the highly sensitive environment of airports.
An ergonomically designed vehicle provides the best possible support for the driver and thus increases productivity in goods transport. Therefore, in addition to performance, ergonomics have also been further optimized. The spacious cab with wide, non-slip access, large display, comfortable seats, air conditioning and lighting, as well as many other features, creates a perfect working environment. Additional windows in the doors as well as in the roof of the vehicle ensure optimum all-round visibility on unclear terrain. The doors are also electronically monitored so that the tractor can only start up when closed.
To prevent unintended acceleration on sloping terrain or ramps, the driver can activate automatic speed reduction at the touch of a button. A protective grille for the rear window, emergency stop switches on the right and left at the rear of the vehicle, a solid metal shield at the front of the vehicle, double mirrors on the doors and lighting solutions such as the Linde BlueSpot are also part of the safety equipment.
Also much appreciated by operators: the full-suspension and full-damping sports chassis.
The fully encapsulated, maintenance- and wear-free brake system is particularly service-friendly, reducing maintenance requirements. Finally, the increased variety of models and equipment options promises further economic benefits: Oversizing is avoided, while at the same time high outputs are available when needed.
