GRUMA Academy goes digital
Virtual meetings with customers, colleagues and the like are already part of everyday business life. So why not also training courses and annual briefings take place online? That's exactly what the GRUMA Academy thought, and that's why it has set itself the goal of offering its customers a digital alternative to its classic classroom training courses. digital alternative to their customers. The starting signal for this was given on 12/14/2020. The most popular training of the GRUMA Academy - the forklift training for beginners and advanced - is now also available as an online version.
With this foray into e-learning for forklifts, the GRUMA Academy is a pioneer in the industry.
Online training offers numerous advantages. First and foremost is the flexibility of time and location. Long commutes, busy schedules and the monetary loss due to the loss of manpower during training make it an unpopular topic among entrepreneurs.
Online training can provide a remedy here. This allows the training participant to complete the training in one piece or, as soon as free capacity is available on his part, spread over several days. This now makes it possible to integrate the training into the daily work routine without any problems, which in turn reduces the planning effort for managers to a minimum.
Since training is often a tough undertaking with lots of legislation, our online forklift training is livened up with lots of informative charts, explanatory videos and quizzes. The personal touch is also provided by a speaker who guides participants through the training with plenty of wit and examples from a trainer's everyday work. Test questions between the slides and a final quiz also guarantee that participants have understood the content. Another advantage of online training? The trainee no longer has to adapt to the pace of the other trainees, but can complete the training at his or her own individual learning speed. For example, content can be repeated as often as required. Anyone who speaks German, has Internet access and can use a PC, tablet or smartphone can take part in the training.
