At this year's Christmas party, a total of 44 employees from GRUMA's materials handling, agricultural and municipal technology division and its subsidiaries were honored for their anniversaries: 25 times for 10 years, ten times for 20, four times for 25, three times for 30 and once each for a whopping 40 and 45 years of service. The two employees who joined the company in 1984 and 1978 can look back on a long career and have witnessed significant changes in the company's history: from the introduction of the first computers and cell phones in the company, to numerous expansions at the headquarters in Derching, to product expansions in business operations.
This year, the family-owned company once again invested heavily in its headquarters, particularly in the area of human resources. In 2023, 84 new employees were therefore hired in the group of companies, including over 20 trainees in the field of materials handling, agricultural and municipal technology.
The fact that GRUMA is one of the best employers in Germany is also proven by the "TOP Employer Award 2023" from the employer rating portal kununu. The company achieved a kununu score of 4.4 stars and a recommendation rate of 90%.
