Start for 17 new apprentices at GRUMA
A new phase in life began for 17 young people: they started their vocational training They started their vocational training at GRUMA with the so-called "Welcome Day", during which they first got to know the company, its management and, last but not least, each other.
GRUMA provides training in both the commercial and technical areas: 10 of the new apprentices are doing an apprenticeship as agricultural and construction machinery mechatronics technicians or general mechatronics technicians; the remaining seven are being trained as wholesale and foreign trade clerks, office management clerks and commercial specialists in the high school graduation program. The trainees are distributed among GRUMA's various branches in Friedberg, Garching near Munich, Lauingen, Egg an der Günz and Germaringen.
But before the young career starters move into the actual departments, they complete an introductory week at the home site in Friedberg, where they acquire the forklift driver's license, among other things. For this, they have to pass both a theoretical and a practical test. In addition, all new trainees receive etiquette training on dealing and communicating with customers, appearance and appearance; in addition, they can set up their first trainee project on their own in joint group work.
A total of over 60 young people are currently undergoing training at GRUMA.
