GRUMA donates to "Charity in Action" Foundation

Ring-a-ding-ding here comes Santa Claus - or rather: GRUMA. Just in time for Christmas, Sophie Gruber, authorized signatory of GRUMA Nutzfahrzeuge GmbH, presented a check for 10,000 euros to the "Nächstenliebe in Aktion" foundation.

Christmas - the festival of love and charity is once again just around the corner. GRUMA would like to use this contemplative time again this year to support social and humanitarian projects in the region.

Sophie Gruber, authorized signatory of GRUMA Nutzfahrzeuge GmbH, therefore presented a check for 10,000 euros to the "Nächstenliebe in Aktion" foundation last week. The foundation, based in Kaufbeuren-Neugablonz, was established in 2016 under the sponsorship of the aid organization humedica e.V.. The main focus of the foundation is to operate the second-hand department store "Family Store", which offers high-quality second-hand goods at low prices.

The income is used to finance social and charitable activities in the region and to support a wide range of assistance services, such as a shopping service for elderly and sick people or care for children with a migration background. The foundation's offerings are aimed especially at people in personal and social need in Kaufbeuren and the region, and also aim to help people of different cultures meet and find each other.

We have great respect for the commitment of Nächstenliebe in Aktion and would like to support the team financially as part of our Christmas donation this year."

Foundation director Wolfgang Groß was very pleased with this donation:
