Hard work pays off - as the goods handling specialist Linde Material Handling (MH) is well aware. For almost 120 years, the name Linde has stood for reliable technology, intelligent solutions and innovative products that offer users measurable added value. Above all, the company relies on innovative strength and a wealth of ideas. Success proves them right. Over the past three decades, the company from Aschaffenburg has received more than 80 awards. In 2021 alone, Linde won seven awards. All the awards that the company has received since the mid-1980s in the categories of brand, product/innovation, design and communication can now be found on the Homepage of Linde Material Handling.

In 2021, for example, Linde received one of the most coveted awards in the material handling industry in Germany: the Image Award in the "Forklift, Handling and Storage Technology" category. The goods handling specialist has shone with its consistent performance for almost 20 years. Since the first award in 2002, the company has always emerged as the winner. The Image Award is presented at different intervals by Springer Fachmedien München GmbH and the publishing house Heinrich Vogel. A representative number of purchasing decision-makers from the transport and logistics industry are asked about the best-known brands. The survey was conducted by an independent market research institute on behalf of VerkehrsRundschau.

The manufacturer also made it to the top of the winners' podium for the tenth time in the "Best Brands" awards presented by the publications trans aktuell, lastauto omnibus, FERNFAHRER and eurotransport.de for innovative products and services from the transport and logistics industry. In addition to the ETM Verlag readers' choice, Linde MH was also able to convince customers and experts in the online voting for "material flow PRODUCT OF THE YEAR 2021". There, the Linde R-MATIC automated reach truck took first place in the material handling equipment category. In addition, the access authorization system "Linde Safety GuardDoor Control" access authorization system also took first place in the identification technology category.

The 2021 trophies now join the many other awards on display in a large glass case in the reception area of the Linde MH headquarters in Aschaffenburg. One of them is the "Business Superbrands Award," which is presented by Superbrands Germany, the world's largest brand evaluation organization. Linde MH has been listed there among the top companies since 2020.

The material handling equipment expert can also claim numerous victories in the area of innovations. One example is the "Best Practice Innovations" award from Logistra magazine, which belongs to the Huss publishing house. Here, in 2014, the company received the award for practicality and the novelty value of fuel cell technology. In 2020, this award was also presented for the current IC engine-powered counterbalanced trucks. The ergonomic steering wheel of the Linde N20 C low-lift order picker also impressed the jury of the Fork Lift Truck Association (FTLA) in 2020. It won the covetedAward for Excellencein the Ergonomics category.

Safety and assistance systems are increasingly moving into the public spotlight in the awards. For example, the "Interactive high-visibility vest for the protection of persons in internal traffic" won the race for the industry award in the "Safety at Work" category offered by WirtschafsWoche and DEKRA. Linde MH was also successful in this area at the "interairport Europe 2019 Excellence Award", "Öko Globe" and "MM Logistik Award".

The company has also been able to score points with a large number of design awards: Linde MH has won ten "reddot" and twelve "iF Product Design" awards over the years. Linde MH received its first iF Design Award in 1985 for the 351 series forklift model in the Porsche industrial design that became typical from then on. In 2018, the roadster version of the Linde E20 R to E35 R electric forklift received the prestigious French industrial design award Observeur du Design, which is presented annually by the design association Agence pour la promotion de la création industrielle (APCI). This was followed in 2019 by the German Design Award for the exceptional forklift model, which has no A-pillar and offers even more visibility of the carriageway and load.

In addition to the areas of innovation and design, Linde MH also proved to be creative and thus worthy of awards when it came to communication and marketing. In particular, the StaplerCup, the championship in which forklift drivers demonstrate their skills and promote occupational safety, has received prestigious awards over the years - including the "Best of Business (BoB)", "ECON", "DPRG", "Galaxy" and "PR Report Award Gold" awards.
