The R14 - R17 X reach trucks feature an exceptional design that significantly increases performance, driving comfort and safety. They are suitable for particularly efficient handling of loads up to 1.7 tons and a working height of over 11.5 meters in narrow racking aisles. By placing the battery under the cab, the operator has twice as much space and the visibility area through the mast has also doubled compared to conventional reach trucks thanks to a new mast concept. The mast is permanently attached to the chassis. Instead, a special fork carriage takes over the pushing movement. This design ensures particularly stable load handling. The position of the battery also keeps the center of gravity very low, resulting in high residual capacities. The special design with extremely short push travels enables a smaller aisle width in the rack storage area.
Features
The ultra-wide lift masts of the R14 - R17 X trucks, narrow mast profiles and the seat positioned close to the mast provide the best all-round visibility. An optional panoramic armored glass roof also provides a clear view of the load from above. An automatic parking brake increases safety, for example when stopping on ramps or inclines. The Linde Curve Assist system supports drivers in curves by adjusting speed proportionally. Four independent braking systems bring the trucks to a halt as quickly as they do safely in any situation. Numerous additional features improve operational safety. For example, a camera system mounted on the mast provides the driver with a permanent view of the load.

The improved all-round visibility thanks to the wide lift masts and the intuitive Linde Load Control mast control system make precise load handling easy and convenient. The innovative vehicle design with the lowered battery doubles the space available in the operator's workplace. All controls for travel and mast functions are ergonomically integrated into the armrests of the driver's seat and can be individually adjusted. The seat can optionally be rotated by 10° and the steering resistance of the controls can be individually adjusted. The interaction of the individual elements and the very generous space allow particularly efficient and fatigue-free work.

The unique design of the R14 - R17 X series enables a compact chassis with a short wheelbase. This gives the trucks high maneuverability and they require less space than normal reach trucks when handling loads. The short reach distance, unique mast visibility and standard side shift for the forks also ensure higher handling performance. With the battery located low under the operator's workplace and the mast firmly connected to the chassis, the trucks have a large residual load capacity and high stability. Thanks to dual pedal steering and Linde Load Control, the trucks can be maneuvered faster and more safely.

Easy access to the essential service components makes these Linde reach trucks particularly fast and uncomplicated to service. By reading out all vehicle data via the CAN bus system, the service technician obtains information on the condition of the electronics and mechanics. The battery can be replaced without effort using a low-lift truck or the optional exchange stand. With maintenance-free electric motors and service intervals of 1,000 operating hours, the trucks are particularly reliable and economical.
