Linde looks back on a long tradition in the manufacture of forklift trucks. The top guideline for decades has been efficient handling. Linde places a high value on ergonomic workplaces and comprehensive safety packages. The engines are economical, quiet and low-emission, and the trucks are load-proof over many hours of operation. Thanks to the easily accessible service modules, maintenance processes can be handled quickly, so that most trucks only see a service inspection bench in exceptional cases in their lifetime.
Hydrostatic drive for smooth operation
The principle of hydrostatics is relatively simple: the combustion engine drives a pump that transmits the power via oil pressure to the two hydraulic motors in the drive axle via a closed circuit. Speed and direction of travel are controlled by two pedals that regulate the amount and direction of oil flow. A special braking system, clutch and transmission are therefore not necessary.
The hydrostatic drive also ensures stepless, smooth and jerk-free acceleration, delivering Linde's usual sensitivity and efficiency.
Healthy & ergonomic workplace
Linde forklifts are designed with the needs of their drivers in mind. In addition to adjustable armrests, back-friendly and comfortable seats, rubber-mounted axles, mast and tilt cylinders also ensure an ergonomic workplace.
The package is rounded off with the Linde Load Control dual pedal control. While the travel functions are operated with the feet, the lifting functions are controlled with the fingertips.
More safety thanks to clever assistance systems
In addition to good visibility and visibility-optimized counterweights on heavy-duty trucks, design protection elements such as the Linde Protector Frame also contribute to greater safety on models up to 5 tons.
The clever assistance systems of Linde forklift trucks ensure even greater safety in the workplace. For example, the use of the Linde Safety Pilot can increase operational safety during production. Another option is the Linde Protection System (LEPS), which prevents serious engine damage by monitoring essential parameters such as oil level and oil pressure. If there is a risk of overloading, the driver is warned accordingly.
Frequently asked questions about LPG forklifts
Basically, both are so-called V-type forklifts. However, a LPG forklift is better suited for indoor use in buildings: it is quieter in operation and emits less exhaust fumes and CO2. The "refueling" of the LPG forklift is also slightly different. However, the forklift's gas cylinder can usually be replaced in a flash.
Even if a forklift does not have to be inspected by TÜV at regular intervals, it still has to undergo numerous tests nevertheless have to undergo numerous inspections.
