Linde Safety Guard

Blind spots, high noise levels and excessive speed often lead to dangerous situations between pedestrians and industrial trucks. What often remains is personal injury or damage to property with unpleasant consequences. This is where the potential lies in the early detection of dangerous situations. This is where Linde Safety Guard comes in with its innovative assistance system. Actively alerting employees with sounds, flashing LEDs or vibration alarms and setting up protection zones helps to increase safety for drivers and pedestrians.

How the Linde Safety Guard works

Dangerous situations between pedestrians and industrial trucks are part of everyday working life in many companies. The Linde Safety Guard provides a remedy with its special early warning system and ensures a safe working environment.

Precision through innovative technology

Transmitters, known as units, are first attached to the industrial trucks, walls, shelves and employees. These transmit a broadband radio signal in the 4 Ghz range (UWB). Classic sources of interference such as WiFi, Bluetooth and RFID are thus a thing of the past.

The signal then reaches the vehicle drivers and employees with up to 10 cm accuracy and warns them mutually in case of acute danger by means of warning tones and flashing LED lights.

Safe work thanks to protection zones

You can define when and where the warnings sound individually in so-called danger zones. It is also possible to define your own speed zones. There, the driver is first informed about the excessive speed, whereupon the vehicle automatically reduces its speed.

The receiver or transmitter also indicates the direction from which other vehicles or people are approaching. The warning distance can be adjusted according to your personal needs. Since the system consists of individual modules, it adapts to your own safety needs and can thus be tailored to the hazardous situations in your company.

For even more safety

The intelligent door control system "Linde Safety Guard Door Control" and the innovative warning vest from Linde are the perfect addition to your Linde Safety Guard and ensure even greater occupational safety in your company.

A higher risk of accidents, enormous energy costs and more collision damage - high-speed doors are a massive cost driver with up to six-figure sums for repairs and maintenance. The intelligent door control system "Door Control" reduces these costs and fits perfectly into the world of Linde Safety Guards.

When the forklift truck enters the warning zone, the speed is limited accordingly and the gate opens automatically to prevent accidents. Thanks to the intelligent sensor system, the gates are only activated when the forklift truck actually wants to drive through. Driveways and footpaths can also be separated from each other and speed zones can be set up individually

When pedestrians cross at gates, they are warned acoustically at the same time as the forklift driver. The combination with the innovative warning vest from Linde is also recommended here for maximum safety.

High visibility vest with brains

Like the roller shutter, the safety vest is a useful addition to the Linde Safety Guard. It alerts the wearer to approaching industrial trucks not only visually and acoustically, but also through vibrations. In addition to the personal warning of the employee, their visibility is also increased.

The vest is also ideally suited as workwear in the context of HSE management and can be ordered in six different sizes. Its special cut offers optimal freedom of movement and at the same time ensures that your employees do not get caught on equipment, shelves or other objects during work.

The warning device of the safety vest is located at the level of the collarbone, as the vibration alarm is perceived most effectively by the wearer there. Due to the proximity to the ear, the warning tone is also noticed immediately. The strength of the warning signal and the vibration can be individually adjusted to the working environment.

The high-visibility vest is characterized by its ease of use and long service life. When the vest is activated, a start tone sounds and when the battery is empty, a sign-off signal sounds. The operating status of the signal transmitter is also indicated by a status LED. A display on the battery provides information about the current charge status. As soon as the warning vest is put down, it is automatically switched off by the acceleration sensor.

Frequently asked questions about the Linde Safety Guard

The Linde Safety Guard is an innovative assistance system for the early detection of hazardous situations between employees and industrial trucks. In the event of acute danger, the persons involved are alerted via acoustic and visual warning signals. The system consists of many individual components so that it can be adjusted according to personal safety requirements.
In addition to high levels of noise pollution, driving at excessive speed and unclear routes and corners are also among the causes of accidents in warehouse operations. But human error can also be a cause. The Linde Safety Guard provides the necessary early detection of hazards and ensures a safe working environment.
