With the models Linde T16 P to T20 P Linde Material Handling presents two innovative, compact low-platform trucks with folding operator platform that can be used for a wide range of applications. The trucks, with load capacities of 1.6 and 2.0 tons and a width of 720 millimeters, are ideal for working in confined spaces. Thanks to speeds of up to 8.5 km/h, a gradeability of up to 20 percent, and new features in terms of comfort and safety, they are perfect for the rapid transport of goods over short to medium distances and for effective loading and unloading operations. The units can be equipped with either lead-acid or the latest generation lithium-ion batteries. Fleet management and networking guarantee productive operation and efficient service.

With the Linde T16 P and T20 P models, newly designed vehicles are now available for rapid goods movements at the truck ramp and for short to medium-length transport routes.

Within the Linde portfolio, the Linde T16 P and T20 P models bridge the gap between pedestrian-only vehicles and the recently introduced high-performance models with folding or rigid operator platform: their performance is designed for light to medium-duty tasks, and they offer good equipment in terms of comfort and safety, various energy options, and state-of-the-art on-board electronics and networking.

Specially tailored to specific areas of application

A 1.3 kW three-phase motor propels the vehicles to a top speed of up to 8.5 km/h, and limits can also be set via parameters. An automatic booster effect provides an extra torque boost in difficult situations, such as leaving a pothole or pulling out a foil-wrapped pallet stuck in the truck.

On sloping routes, the low-lift trucks offer sufficient reserves under their deformation-resistant engine cover with gradient capacities of 15 percent (Linde T16 P) or 13 percent (Linde T20 P) with load and 20 percent without load. In addition, the electric steering provides smooth and precise control even under maximum load, while the five-point support with central drive wheel and spring-loaded support rollers stabilizes the unit during transport. Optional, integrated onboard chargers offer operators independence from fixed charging stations.

Increased comfort and safety

In addition, further improvements have been made in terms of safety and comfort: The side bars, which hold the operator securely within the chassis contours, are more stable and padded in the new models. The specially designed tiller head now has an activation angle of 65°, which benefits operators of smaller stature. The operator platform has been widened to 663 millimeters and, with a height of 162 millimeters, makes it easier for the operator to get on. Thanks to its suspension and non-slip rubber design, the stand-on platform minimizes vibrations and jolts, thus creating the conditions for fatigue-free working. A new option is the metal accessory bar, to which work lights, scanners or the Linde BlueSpot can be attached. The load guard, which is also optional, prevents the load from shifting towards the operator.
