In the first week of September, 20 new trainees were welcomed at GRUMA. At the traditional Welcome Day, the young people got to know the company, the management and, of course, each other. This was followed by an introductory week at the home site in Friedberg, where they acquired their forklift driver's license in addition to first impressions and work processes.
GRUMA provides training in both the commercial and technical areas. More than half of the new apprentices are starting their training as agricultural and construction machinery mechatronics technicians this year. GRUMA also offers the following apprenticeships mechatronics, office management and wholesale and foreign trade management management. Two career starters with high school diplomas will become commercial specialist trained. All GRUMA trainees are employed at the home location in Friedberg or at the branches and subsidiaries in Garching, Germaringen and Egg an der Günz.
The selection process has already begun again for the coming training year in 2024. On the GRUMA website, interested parties can find out more about the various apprenticeships and apply directly.
