Of' baut is! After a two-year break, the Munich Oktoberfest will start a new round on September 17, 2022. But there is still a lot to do before the grand opening. The beer tents and rides have to be set up and the goods delivered. Depending on the construction phase, up to 2,000 people are working on the Theresienwiese at the same time. The erection of the Oktoberfest tents began three weeks earlier than usual because of the long break. The scaffolding for the tents was already in place at the beginning of July and the tents are now almost completely finished on the inside shortly before the start.
GRUMA is also involved in the construction of the Wiesn with around 40 forklifts from its rental fleet. To ensure that logistics continue to run smoothly during the festival from September 17 to October 3, we are providing another 15 vehicles for the large and small beer tents. From the Linde T16 to the Linde H20 with DPK to the H30 D, a wide range of GRUMA industrial trucks is in use. We will also be on site again with active support during the dismantling of the 187th Oktoberfest.
We are already looking forward to the next Wiesn in 2022.
