At the World of Material Handling (WoMH), the international intralogistics industry gathers with several thousand guests from all over Europe for a forward-looking industry get-together. In order to be able to convince customers and interested parties at this year's trade fair, Linde Material Handling (MH) has literally laid out the red carpet for them. The goods handling specialist will be presenting its extensive portfolio of products, solutions and services on 17,000 square meters at the Mannheim Maimarkt site. Visitors will also have access to the concentrated expertise of the product experts and consultants.

In the past two years, the entire economic framework and thus also the requirements for internal material flow have changed noticeably. Increases in the cost of energy, a shortage of skilled workers, higher demands on operational safety and the search for solutions for greater sustainability - these are just some of the challenges facing our customers. At the same time, it is important to utilize the optimization potential that can be realized through digitalization and networking. Today, customer requirements can no longer be met with forklift trucks and warehouse equipment alone. In recent years, Linde Material Handling has developed into a very broad-based solution provider that, in addition to its growing product range, offers an ever-increasing number of software solutions, assistance systems, consulting tools and service offerings such as battery leasing or predictive maintenance. In doing so, we are always close to our customers - in line with the WoMH 2022 motto: YOUR WAY IS OUR WAY.

Experience products and solutions live

Just for a brief flying visit to the exhibitor stand and then it's on to the next? Not at WomH! At this customer event, guests spend a whole day experiencing the products and solutions live in realistic application scenarios. In the large exhibition hall, for example, a complete flow of goods for the production of glass bottles was therefore recreated. From incoming goods to storage, order picking, production and delivery, it is shown how the transport and handling of loads can be solved efficiently, safely, ergonomically and sustainably. Parallel to the application scenarios, guests will also have the opportunity to talk intensively with product experts and consultants about their individual challenges and wishes and to find solutions together.

Linde MH impresses with broad product portfolio

In addition to the application examples, visitors can find out about a wide range of topics at various islands. For example, the advantages of digitizing and networking warehouse processes are demonstrated in a "control center". But also the extensive security portfolio, the different energy concepts, the fleet management solution "connect" and various possibilities for automation will be presented. In addition, guests can get up close and personal with the more than 100 vehicles on display in a large outdoor area. There, a whole armada of forklifts is waiting to completely convince the operators during a test drive.

In each case, the products and solutions of the numerous partner companies are embedded in a suitable place. For example, at the "incoming goods" station there is the safety barrier from A-Safe, in the "warehouse" area there is a heavy-duty rack from Bito and the automatic small parts warehouse "AutoStore", presented by Dematic. In the "Picking" area there is a mobile weighing device from Ravas and at the "last mile" station a lifting platform from Palfinger. Other partner booths are located at the themed areas. EnerSys, Fronius, Hoppecke and Plug Power will be expanding the "Energy" area, while Dematic will be showing how automatic solutions can be combined with manual and automated industrial trucks in the "Intralogistics" area.
