GRUMA donates to St. Nikolaus children's hospice
Just in time for Christmas, GRUMA expands its donation commitment and once again supports social and humanitarian projects in the region.
Sophie Gruber, co-owner and authorized signatory of GRUMA Nutzfahrzeuge GmbH, therefore presented a check for 10,000 euros to the St. Nikolaus Children's Hospice in Bad Grönenbach (Unterallgäu) last weekend. The children's hospice is one of 16 facilities across Germany that support and accompany families with terminally and life-shortening children during the illness, dying and mourning phases.
"We have encountered an extremely motivated team here, working with a lot of love and dedication in a sensitive environment," says Sophie Gruber. "We see helping people in need as our social responsibility. We feel a great need to support the work of the children's hospice financially, as we are convinced that our donation will reach where it is needed."
Marlies Breher, Chairwoman of the Board of the South German Children's Hospice Foundation, was very pleased with this donation:
"On the one hand, our work consists of a lot of personal commitment, empathy and voluntary work, on the other hand, we naturally also need a lot of money for therapies, help in everyday family life or the fulfillment of wishes of our little patients. Therefore, we thank GRUMA from the bottom of our hearts for this generous donation!"
Just recently, GRUMA supported the Kaufbeuren relief organization humedica e.V. with donations in kind for their warehouse logistics.
