More comfort, more performance, more safety: That's what the new Generation 12XX trucks from Linde Material Handling (MH) promise. The forward-looking diesel and LPG trucks effortlessly lift payloads of 3.5 to 5 tons. In addition, the improved comfort, more visibility, protection systems for the driver and surroundings as well as the two-way data exchange and the powerful drive ensure higher pallet turnover.
The optimum interplay of industrial engine, continuously variable transmission and sophisticated operating concept gives the new combustion engines the necessary power for fast and efficient goods handling.
The powerhouses can be used to transport highly sensitive castings as well as dozens of crates of beverages in a single lift, to grip containers weighing several tons with cobblestones, to lift wire coils onto pallets, or to stack blocks of pressed waste paper.
The robust trucks are also convincing all along the line in demanding outdoor applications, such as dusty runways, muddy surfaces or uneven road surfaces. This is due to ground clearances of 207 millimeters(Linde H35 and H40) or 250 millimeters (Linde H45 and H50), a long wheelbase, impact protection, and wheels and tires in a wide variety of designs.
In order to be able to guarantee high residual capacities when using attachments, the new vehicles have a load center of 600 millimeters, in contrast to the previous series. For the Linde H50 with a load capacity of five tons, a load center of 500 millimeters is also available. The series has also been expanded to include a model with a 3.5-ton load capacity.
The improved driver's workstation impresses with a high level of operating comfort and thus optimally supports the operator in his work. For example, the wide step and soft grab handle make it easy to get into the vehicle. The latest generation of seats and armrests (Linde Load Control), which has already been installed in the other forklift models of the 12XX family, also ensures relaxed working. This, in turn, has been perfectly matched to the ergonomic steering wheel and dual pedals and, like the decoupling of the mast and axles, aims to keep the operator fit and focused throughout a long working day. The asymmetric mast profiles of the 12XX generation have been redesigned in terms of operator visibility, and the optionally available cab also offers the operator a significantly improved view through the large glass doors.
As employee protection is becoming increasingly important in most operations, safety features have also been incorporated into the larger model range. Many features are therefore now offered as standard. These include, for example, electronic seat belt buckle monitoring, the Linde Load Assist assistance system and Linde Curve Assist curve-dependent speed reduction. But lighting solutions such as the Linde TruckSpot, VertiLights or LED Stripes are also available as options.
An equivalent "green" alternative that can also be operated in a climate-neutral manner will be the electric for klifts of the X series in the future. However, the current internal combustion engines can polish up their energy balance by increasing their handling performance. This is the result of the company's own TOP performance test, which was approved by TÜV Nord.
