And the winner of the "materialfluss PRODUCT OF THE YEAR 2024" is... Linde Material Handling (MH). The Aschaffenburg-based company has won first place in the "Industrial Trucks and Accessories" category with its Linde X35 to X50 series electric forklift trucks. The powerhouses convinced the trade audience all along the line and were able to win the majority of the votes. In addition, Linde MH was awarded second place in the "Logistics and Transport" category for its innovative energy management solution "Linde Energy Manager" based on artificial intelligence.
The "PRODUCT OF THE YEAR" award was presented for the fifth time by the trade journal "materialfluss", published by WEKA Business Medien. The award honors groundbreaking innovations in the logistics and intralogistics industry that offer a high level of added value for customers. The companies had the opportunity to apply in a total of six categories. These included: "Warehouses, Racks and Warehouse Equipment", "Picking Systems, Packaging and Shipping", "Conveyor and Lifting Technology", "Industrial Trucks and Accessories", "Logistics and Transport" and "Project of the Year". All candidacies were then presented to readers in a special special issue. Voting took place via the journal's online portal and ended on February 18, 2024. The award ceremony took place on 13 March in Munich.
X35 to X50 impress with high performance and low emissions
The Linde X35 to X50 electric forklifts with a load capacity of 3.5 to 5.0 tonnes were able to convince the trade visitors above all with their high performance and lower emissions compared to conventional models. For the first time, loads can now also be moved outdoors in an environmentally friendly, quiet and low-emission manner, without sacrificing performance, robustness or comfort. This represents a significant step towards more sustainable, climate-neutral intralogistics, especially for companies in industries with high demands on vehicle performance, such as the paper, wood, beverage and chemical industries.
