Using the example of the beverage manufacturer Kunzmann, Dasing in the Wittelsbacher Land region of Germany

Anyone who deals with the basic element and foodstuff water on a daily basis automatically grows into a natural awareness, which today is often referred to as sustainable action in corporate processes. The basis of this sustainability is formed by fundamental values such as loyalty, honesty and reliability. This is the only way to ensure that what we do today will have a positive impact in the future.
This responsibility has a firm place in the Kunzmann family business. Developing and producing high-quality beverages is the core of the company. This has not changed for 5 decades now. All beverages and brands from Kunzmann are characterized by tangible benefits, convey a special attitude to life and always take energy, climate and environmental aspects into account.
Among other things, Augusta Weinkellerei is a supplier of high-quality organic wines and refreshing Winzerschorle. Mulled wine, organic mulled wine and punch drinks find their lovers at numerous Christmas markets. The winery's range is rounded off with high-quality fruit wines, which can only be found in selected specialist stores.
From good, old earth - the Wittelsbacher Land - we draw the Albertus spring from our own mineral spring. This natural product is marketed exclusively on a regional basis. Large-scale distribution would not be in line with the company's ecological philosophy.
Another strong brand is the KELA fruit juice segment. Long since certified by Bioland producers, attractive and high-quality fruit juice specialties leave the bottling plants - and not infrequently return with a DLG award.

This is also evident in the latest example of resource conservation, the conversion of all Linde gas-powered for klifts to modern CO²-reduced Linde electric forklifts.

If future electric cars are increasingly replacing the old internal combustion engines and thus protecting finite energies, then this must surely also be the case, above all, for economically used technology such as forklifts.

Jürgen Kunzmann commissioned his logistics consultant from GRUMA with this task. Using the LOGIS emissions and efficiency software program developed by Linde, exact comparative values could be compared in terms of CO² emissions, energy costs and maintenance costs. The result was clear.
