The choice is yours. However, you should first check how often and for what the device is needed. In order to store and retrieve the goods in a high-bay warehouse, a high-lift truck should generally be preferable to a forklift, especially if space is limited.
No forklift license is required for pedestrian operation. Only instruction and briefing of the operator is required. In the interest of occupational safety, instruction for high-lift trucks should take place annually. The operator must also be able to demonstrate physical and mental fitness to operate a pallet truck independently. You can ensure this through an occupational health examination.
Not necessarily. Linde has a large number of high lift trucks in its range. Some can effortlessly lift pallets to racks up to 4 meters high. Seated models are designed for even higher lifting heights.
