Thanks to the robust side bars, the driver's body is always within the vehicle contour during transport travel and is thus well protected. The rubber coating of the standing platform permanently ensures a secure footing. Four independent braking systems guarantee the safety of the driver and the load: the vehicle brakes automatically as soon as the driver releases the tiller head, the tiller is in the upper or lower end position, or the direction of travel is changed. An easily accessible emergency stop switch provides additional protection. In addition, the T16 - T20 P are equipped with Linde Curve Assist, which automatically adapts the travel speed to cornering. Load guards up to a height of 1,800 mm are available to protect the driver from loads sliding back. As a visual warning in unclear areas, the vehicles can be equipped with the Linde BlueSpot.

The driver's platform of the T16 - T20 P is cushioned by a rubber spring to protect the operator from shocks and vibrations during driving and pedestrian operation. Thanks to the electric power steering, the vehicles can be maneuvered without much effort. A steering angle limited to 65 degrees makes for even more ergonomic and easy operation, especially for women. The controls on the tiller head are arranged so that they can be operated easily and safely with either hand, even when wearing gloves and regardless of hand size. Accessory holders can be attached to the vehicle to hold important work utensils such as a scanner, A4 clipboards, etc. The tiller head also has a multifunction display. The operator has all important information at a glance via the multifunction display.

The T16 - T20 P are optimized for use in tight spaces. On the one hand, they are particularly narrow (720 mm wide), and on the other hand, they can be used flexibly in drive and pedestrian mode thanks to their folding driver platform. With the creeper, the operator can easily maneuver the load, in both pedestrian and travel mode, even in the tightest spaces by keeping the tiller in an upright position. A powerful 1.3 kW three-phase motor enables maximum speeds of 8.5 km/h (without load). In addition to the classic lead-acid batteries, the T16 - T20 P can be equipped with a new generation of lithium-ion batteries. An onboard charger is available for both lead-acid and lithium-ion batteries. For Li-ION batteries, this facilitates rapid intermediate charging during operation. Maximum stability is ensured by an innovative castor system that can be mechanically sprung and ensures ground contact even on uneven surfaces.

The maintenance-free three-phase motor of the T16 - T20 P guarantees long service intervals, low operating costs and high vehicle availability. Durability is also ensured by robust components such as the coated forks with cast instead of welded fork tips. The maintenance-friendly design of the vehicles gives service technicians easy access to all relevant components. With the aid of a laptop, technicians can read out all vehicle data via a diagnostic plug. The modern electric-electronic architecture enables a wide range of digital functions. If the vehicles are equipped with an optional data transmission unit, remote diagnostics, wireless software updates and the activation of new functions are possible.
