Horizontal order picker Linde N16 Li

The N16 Li order picker has a three-part braking system that adapts to both the environment and the load weight: The electromagnetic service brake is coupled with the dead man's switch and the emergency button. A hydraulically assisted brake increases the braking power as the load weight increases. The vehicle also brakes automatically when the drive control is released. When cornering, the N16 Li reduces its speed to protect the driver and goods. In addition, an optional load protection stabilizes the load and thus offers the driver perfect protection. The power steering with self-centring requires only a slight turn of the steering wheel, thus reducing the operator's movements within the driver's cab. Additional options such as front LED and Linde BlueSpotTM maximize safety in the warehouse.

The driver's platform with low access at a height of 13.7 centimeters makes it easy to get in and out. All contours are rounded and numerous compartments and holders provide storage space for the necessary equipment. Thanks to the fork lift, the operator picks at a back-friendly height. As an option, this can be supplemented by the Autolift, which automatically adjusts the height of the forks depending on the loading height. For short distances, the operator controls the vehicle conveniently using the pedestrian mode. Both the intuitively operated Linde steering wheel and the backrest with fold-out seat are height-adjustable as an option. In addition, the operating platform is fully sprung and reduces vibrations and shocks while driving. New drivers can be quickly trained thanks to the clear symbols on the controls.

Powered by a 3 kW three-phase AC motor, the N16 Li accelerates quickly to a top speed of 12 km/h. The four-point contact with the ground ensures high stability. An initial lift facilitates transportation over ramps and uneven surfaces. Thanks to the optional lithium-ion battery, the driver can use his breaks to recharge the vehicle to reduce downtime. A multifunctional display provides constant information on the current charge status of the order picker. The driver intuitively controls all driving and mast functions via the Linde steering wheel. The optional Autolift function eliminates unnecessary movements by automatically raising and lowering the forks.

The N16 Li requires little maintenance: The vehicle runs for up to 1,000 operating hours without a service check. The three-phase technology is maintenance-free and there is no need to readjust the brakes. The technician can easily access all service components after removing a service panel. He can read out the essential vehicle parameters via a CAN bus connection using a laptop. A robust cast steel bumper protects the spring-mounted operator's platform and thus reduces collision damage.
