Product description
Thanks to its particularly long forks, the N20 XL from Linde Material Handling can transport two pallets with a total weight of up to 2.0 t at the same time with the initial lift. The mast design allows the operator to load both pallets (300 kg each) at a back-friendly height of 750 mm. As the driver's platform is positioned in front of the battery, the operator always has a good view of the storage environment while driving and can react to dangerous situations at an early stage. The entire operating platform is spring-mounted and thus reduces vibrations or shocks caused by uneven floors.
Features
The N20 XL order picker has three braking systems to protect the driver and load: The electromagnetic service brake is coupled with the dead man's switch and an emergency button. A hydraulically assisted braking system reduces the speed in proportion to the weight of the load and the Linde brake control automatically engages when the drive control is released. Additional safety is provided by the flattened contours of the chassis and the rounded driver's platform as well as the automatic track centering of the Linde steering wheel. A steel shock absorber at the front of the vehicle reduces shocks and vibrations. It can be optionally supplemented with a rubber coating. When cornering, the vehicle reduces its speed in proportion to the angle of inclination of the steering wheel. Optional LED front lights and the Linde BlueSpot™ also visually announce the order picker.
- Three different braking systems
- Dead man's switch and emergency button
- Flattened contours
- Automatic toe-in centering of the Linde steering wheel
- Automatic braking in curves
The wide driver's platform, which is easily accessible from both sides and has a low entrance, makes it easy for the driver to get in and out. He can load two pallets at the same time at a height that is easy on his back, thus saving unnecessary movements. To further optimize efficiency, the mast control and optional pedestrian controls for moving the vehicle are located on both sides of the backrest. The driver's cab has various options for the operator to customize the vehicle according to his wishes, including many storage areas. Both the intuitively operated Linde steering wheel and the backrest with fold-out seat are height-adjustable as an option. In addition, the operating platform is spring-mounted and reduces vibrations and shocks while driving.
- Wide and low access
- Pedestrian commands on both sides of the backrest
- Storage areas in the operating platform
- Intuitive Linde steering wheel
- Suspended operating platform
Driven by a 3 kW three-phase motor, the order picker accelerates quickly up to 12 kilometers per hour. Various wheel designs ensure vehicle and load stability on transport routes in the warehouse. Either lead-acid or optional lithium-ion batteries ensure the optimum energy supply to suit the requirements of the fleet. With the intuitive Linde steering wheel, the driver controls all driving and mast functions effortlessly and with millimeter precision. For very short distances in the rack rows, he can conveniently use the two-sided pedestrian mode and save himself the need to get on and off the truck. An initial lift facilitates transportation over ramps and uneven surfaces.
- 3 kW three-phase motor
- Control wheels for stability
- Lithium-ion battery (optional)
- Effortless control with Linde steering wheel
- Pedestrian operation
The order picker has low maintenance requirements and runs for around 1,000 hours without a service check. The three-phase technology is completely maintenance-free and there is no need to readjust the brakes. During maintenance, the service technician can easily remove the cover to the engine compartment and easily reach the central components. All wiring harnesses and cables are clearly arranged for quick maintenance. The service technician conveniently reads out the vehicle data on his terminal via a CAN bus connection. A robust cast steel bumper protects the spring-mounted operator's platform, reducing collision damage.
- 1,000 operating hours without service check
- No readjustment of the brakes
- Easy access to the engine compartment
- Cable harnesses and cables clearly arranged
- CAN bus connection

Special equipment
With the connect fleet management solution from Linde , it is possible, among other things, to analyze the use of the entire vehicle fleet in order to subsequently optimize the service or the utilization of the vehicle fleet.
Additional protection for the driver and the load is the load protection grille, which can be adjusted depending on the height of the load.
The Linde BlueSpot™ route warning device increases safety during operation, as the LED spotlight makes forklifts visible without making a sound.
With the innovative lithium-ion technology from Linde , the vehicles can be charged in a much shorter time. They can also be temporarily charged during operation. This increases the availability of the vehicles.
Pushbuttons are located on both sides of the vehicle. With them, the driver operates the order picker from the outside and walks alongside at the same time.
The lateral battery removal with roller bearing enables a quick change especially for the use in multi-shift operation.
The bumper reduces vibrations in the event of a collision, protecting the driver, the vehicle and also infrastructure such as shelving.
The floor of the platform, the steering wheel and the backrest including the fold-out seat are protected against shocks and impacts.
