The N20 C D order picker has a robust chassis with rounded edges. The power steering with self-centering requires only a slight turning of the steering wheel, thus reducing the operator's movements within the operator's platform. Speed is automatically reduced when steering. Three separate braking systems ensure safe braking to match the environment and transported load: The service brake operates electromagnetically. For this purpose, a hydraulically assisted braking system adjusts to the load weight. In addition, Linde Brake Control enables automatic braking when the drive is released. Additional options such as front LEDs and Linde BlueSpot™ maximize safety.

Each driver can individually adapt the low-lift order picker to his or her needs: The Linde steering wheel and backrest are flexibly height-adjustable, allowing the driver to adopt a comfortable, gentle posture. The central controls are located directly on the Linde steering wheel, allowing the driver to reach and operate them intuitively with both hands. A cushioned platform with a non-slip rubber pad reduces the vibrations transmitted to the operator. Access to the operator's platform has also been designed to be particularly ergonomic: A wide design with low entry height facilitates frequent entry and exit on both sides.

Driven by a 3 kW three-phase motor, the order picker accelerates quickly up to 12 kilometers per hour. Either lead-acid or optional lithium-ion batteries ensure the optimum energy supply to suit the fleet's requirements. With the intuitive operating concept of the Linde steering wheel, the driver controls all travel and mast functions effortlessly and with millimeter precision. A liftable operator's platform is optionally available for comfortable picking on the first and second levels. Efficiency is also promoted by a clear multifunction display, numerous storage compartments on the vehicle, and optional pushbuttons on both sides for pedestrian operation.

The order picker ensures low maintenance requirements and only requires a service check after around 1,000 hours. The three-phase technology is completely maintenance-free. Brakes do not need to be readjusted. During maintenance, the service technician can easily remove the front panel to the engine compartment and has free access to all central components. All wiring harnesses and cables are clearly arranged for fast maintenance. The service technician can conveniently read out the vehicle data on his terminal via a CAN bus connection.

Special equipment
The two semi-automated driving modes of the SA option (Semi-Automated; SA) shorten walking distances and reduce constant loading and unloading of the vehicle, as the picker automatically follows or drives ahead of the driver. This significantly increases the efficiency of horizontal picking.
With Linde's connect fleet management solution, it is possible, among other things, to analyze the use of the entire fleet of vehicles in order to subsequently optimize the service or utilization of the vehicle fleet.
The two headlights are located at the front and have a bright luminosity. They are waterproof and dustproof.
Additional protection for the driver and the load is the load protection grille, which can be adjusted depending on the height of the load.
The Linde BlueSpot™ driveway warning system increases safety during operation, as the LED spotlight makes trucks silently visible.
With Linde's innovative lithium-ion batteries, vehicles can be recharged in a much shorter time and temporarily charged while in use.
Pushbuttons are located on both sides of the vehicle. With them, the driver operates the order picker from the outside and walks alongside at the same time.
The lateral battery removal with roller bearing enables a quick change especially for the use in several work shifts.
Whether it's a driving error, an uneven road or improper vehicle use - a shock sensor registers vibrations. Evaluating the data via the fleet management software provides information about the cause of damage and accidents.
Access control via the connect fleet management system ensures that the vehicles are only used by authorized persons. The driver must identify himself by PIN or RFID card before starting.
